Features of the Redmi 13 Series

1. Display and Design:

You get Dolby Vision certified 1.5K AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of at least 120Hz on the Note 13 Pro and 13 Pro+, while a full-HD+ AMOLED panel is used on a Redmi Note 13 .

The peak brightness levels in note 13 pro and pro plus are up to 1850 nits whereas the display in redmi note 13 has maximum brightness of only1000 nits.

The protective technology employed is another difference between them. A standard note thirteen comes with Gorilla Glass 5 as protection which is an outdated standard, but both note thirteen pro and note thirteen pro plus use Gorilla glass victus.

2. Performance:

Given that Redmi note thirteen has Dimensity 6080 chipset, and also there is mediatek 7200 ultra for note thirteen pro plus while snapdragon 7s gen2 is for note 13 pro.

In comparison to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 on the 13 Pro, the Dimensity 6080 performs about 40% worse.

On paper, the Note 13 Pro+’s Dimensity 7200 Ultra outperforms the 7s Gen 2 by about 10% to 15%.

It is unknown if the Redmi Note 13 and 13 Pro variants with 256GB and above use UFS 3.1 instead of the slower UFS 2.1 since both the Note 13 and Note 13 Pro have 128 GB variants and UFS 3.1 storage starts from 256GB modules.

However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ utilizes UFS 3.1 storage as well. Worth mentioning is also that all three versions of Redmi Note 13 come with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 instead of new HyperOS.

It is sad to note that in the year 2024, yet for more than four months Android 14 has been released and you have a new operating system. However, the first pair of Xiaomi devices to receive HyperOS in India have been announced.

3. Camera:

Redmi Note 13 has two sensors: a primary sensor of 108 MP and a depth sensor of 2 MP. The major component here is ISOCELL HM2 which is very common among 108 MP sensors that take pictures at binned images of up to 12 MP.

Conversely, Note 13 Pro and Pro + feature Samsung’s HP3 sensor with a resolution of 200 MP, which produces pictures at a resolution of only about twelve point five megapixels (MP).

Additionally these phones are equipped with an extra Ultrawide camera having eight megapixels (MP), Macro being two megapixels (MP) and a selfie camera having sixteen megapixels (MP).

According to Samsung, ISOCELL HP3 offers better picture quality, color accuracy as well as focusing. While we won’t delve further, we can presume that the 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ photos appear better than the Note 13 photos.

4. Battery

The Redmi Note 13’s battery is a 5,000 mAh cell that supports 33W rapid charging. It has 67W wired charging and a slightly larger 5,100 mAh capacity on the Note 13 Pro. Lastly, a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W rapid charging is a feature of the Note 13 Pro+.
