Hey guys, let me tell you something. In India, the price segment ranging from 20k to 25k is considered super important. And if you look at the options available today, there are so many in the 20-25K price segment, and all brands offer the same best thing, which is performance.
Because, you know, performance matters a lot to us Indians. But if you carefully observe any phone in this price range, not all of them provide a premium experience. But this phone, Nothing Phone 2a, very few phones impress me the way it does with its overall experience. Let me explain why I’m saying this.

Firstly, let me talk about the unboxing experience. You don’t get a charger inside the box, only a Type-C cable is provided, and it comes with a very unique SIM ejector tool. Let me give you a hint at the start of why I’m praising the Nothing Phone 2a.
Design
Now, let’s talk about the design. If we talk about design, we can predict how Nothing makes phones. I mean, it will have a transparent back, showing components, glow lighting, and a boxy frame. So, these Nothing phones truly look unique, and let me tell you one reason why this phone looks so different.

Unique Features
Because the camera module is placed right in the center and horizontally positioned on top, which is not usual in the market anymore, nowadays, all camera modules are vertically aligned. You don’t know what these lights are used for, which is called glow lighting. Nothing comes with a few other features, too, like setting a timer.
Material and Finish
Now, let me tell you something seriously. The entire phone is made of plastic. It’s entirely made of polycarbonate. Due to the matte finish of the black color, I was under the illusion that it was aluminum. I confirmed it from the brand, but now I realize it’s indeed plastic. The black color, because of its matte finish and frame matte, gives a premium feel.
Speaker and Haptics
But I still feel, as in Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2, haptics are the same. They should have slightly adjusted the location of the fingerprint scanner, which is lower, so it takes some effort to stretch. But it’s okay, you get used to it. Another thing that will be added to the premium experience is its uniform bezels, and in fact, the bezels of Nothing are thinner than those of any other phone. This is a really good thing.
