Pricing

Let’s talk about pricing first. I got this phone before its launch, so for now, I can make a guess about the pricing. The starting variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage might be around 20,000 rupees. And there’s another variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which will obviously be priced higher. We’ll have to wait and see.

Design and Hardware

Now, let’s discuss the phone itself. The first thing you’ll notice is its vi3 look. I have the Cosmic Blue color, but there’s also Crystal Flake. Inside, it’s powered by the Diamond City 7200 processor, which is quite popular right now. It comes with TSMC’s second-generation 4mm processor and LPDDR4X RAM. It also has RAM expansion mode and UFS2.1 storage, which provides fast read and write speeds.

Performance

The battery is 5000mAh and comes with a 44W flash charger in the box, so it charges up to 100% pretty quickly. Talking about performance, the Antutu score it delivers at this price point is quite impressive, almost reaching 7 lakhs. So, in terms of power, there’s hardly any complaints.

User Experience

As for normal usage, all the applications including Instagram run smoothly. Even gaming at 60fps with BGMI gives excellent performance. And if you’re into heavier gaming, you’ll find that it handles games quite well. With just an hour of gaming, the battery drop is around 15-16%, which I think is pretty decent.

Display and Audio

Regarding charging, there’s no bypass charging available. And unfortunately, it doesn’t support Type-C 2.2, which some might find disappointing. However, after indulging in some heavy gaming, the phone remains relatively cool, allowing for longer gaming sessions comfortably. Now, let’s talk about the display. It’s a 6.67-inch AH-AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. With a peak brightness of 1800 nits, the display quality is excellent. It performs quite well even under harsh sunlight, thanks to the high brightness level.

The dual speakers, with front-firing and bottom-firing, deliver a good sound output. There’s also an audio booster feature that enhances sound quality while consuming multimedia content. You can boost the volume from 100 to over 200 directly, which is a handy option. Moreover, you get enhanced vocals, and if that’s not your preference, you can always turn it off.

Additional Features

Now, let’s discuss some other features. The daily hunt feature comes in handy for many people, and the phone is quite useful for work in today’s time. The Blue Tick verification is optional from the home screen, where you get various wallpapers. And there’s a RAM server feature added, basically optimizing background processes.

Camera

In terms of the camera, the main camera is 50 megapixels, and it’s equipped with sonypicturesnetworks, which helps remove flickering in videos. In this segment, you also get the first sonypicturesnetworks.com, which helps with low-light photography. Most of the time, you won’t encounter image blur, which is common in other phones. There’s also a Super Moon mode option available, along with Night Portrait and more, so you get pretty good quality detail in front of you.

Connectivity and Build

The phone does not come with an ultra-wide lens, and most brands are incorporating an ultra-wide lens at this pricing, so that aspect has also been taken care of here. Additionally, this is a 5G phone with support for 8 5G bands and Wi-Fi 6, which is quite impressive. The backside features a triple camera setup, which looks quite minimalistic, but you’ll notice a plastic bag on the back, and on the sides, there’s a plastic frame. At the bottom, you’ll find a hybrid SIM slot where you can insert either a SIM card, a memory card, or both SIM cards.

Design and Durability

The phone is not too heavy either, weighing around 185 grams, and with its slim design, it feels quite manageable. On the front side, the punch-hole camera appears quite small, and the phone’s bezels are well-designed. Viewing it from the back, you might feel like they’ve given it a 3D crystal design type of name, which looks quite impressive, and if you look at the back design, you’ll notice a hint of golden color around the camera module, which adds to its aesthetics. Even the front features a glass back finish, enhancing the overall design.

Regarding the display protection, it features Dragontrail Glass 2 Plus protection, which should hold up well against drops. If you drop it once or twice, it should be fine, and if dropped from the back side as well, around 3 feet, it should be okay. This judgment is based on minor dents or issues not being observed.
