WhatsApp Introduces Meta Verified Feature in Beta: WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform owned by Meta, has announced the rollout of its new feature, ‘Meta Verified,‘ which is currently in beta testing

This new WhatsApp feature aims to enhance user trust and confidence in businesses operating on the platform.

WhatsApp Introduces Meta Verified Feature in Beta 

The confirmation came as WhatsApp began the rollout of its beta version, labelled WhatsApp Beta 2.24.1.21, available for download via the Play Store. 

The update substantiates WhatsApp’s efforts to facilitate business entities’ enrollment for the Meta Verified program.

Users will notice a novel addition in the Settings section within the updated beta version, allowing businesses to opt-in for Meta Verified. 

This verified status is set to be accompanied by a distinct badge, signifying the authenticity and credibility of the respective business profile.

WABetaInfo says that the new subscription replaces WhatsApp Premium, a previous subscription with a custom business link and the capability to connect more than ten mobile devices. 

Interestingly, these features will be available in this Meta Verified subscription.
